Jonathan Dyer has worked on the The World since 1998, first as News Editor and, from the following year, as Managing Editor. His duties are wide-ranging but primarily include staffing, resource allocation, external partnerships, and editorial direction. He occasionally dabbles in actual production.
Jonathan is also Editor of the weekly BBC World Service program, Boston Calling, and he was part of the team that created and launched the weekday public radio program, The Takeaway.
Years ago he made radio documentaries which one time involved a helicopter.
